Storm Damage Evaluations
After a severe storm, the first thing home and business owners need to do is have a thorough and accurate inspection of their properties for wind and storm damage. Damage to a building can range from minor water intrusion caused by wind-driven rain, to severe structural damage that compromises the stability of the structure itself.
Our experienced team of engineers and building envelope experts have inspected hundreds of residential properties and commercial buildings after major hurricanes such as Andrew, Charlie, Wilma, Irene and Irma. A storm damage evaluation is only as effective as the engineer making the assessment, our experience ensures that you will receive an accurate evaluation to successfully resolve storm damage claims.

Our Storm Damage Evaluations includes a thorough inspection of the structural elements and an in depth engineering analysis to report on the buildings integrity. Why Should I Hire an Engineer?
After you file a claim, your insurance company will send an Insurance Adjuster. The insurance adjuster will assess the damage, decide what the insurance company's responsibility is, and assign a dollar value for repairs. This is based on the Adjuster's experience, the insurance policy, and the insurance company's standards.
A Licensed Engineer is not bound by any insurance company's rules or your insurance policy. The Engineer is bound by his professional responsibility, which includes considering your needs. The Engineer will tell you what needs to be done to repair your storm-damaged home or building.
The Insurance Adjuster will provide you with a long document indicating what the insurance company wants to pay for correcting the storm damage. The Licensed Engineer's report will be concise and easier to read. The Engineer's report gives you the information you need to determine if the insurance company has covered all of the damage caused by the storm.
Water Intrusion Investigations
Water intrusion is one of the main contributing factors to building damage, structural damage, rot, and microbial growth that may lead to "Building Related Illness".
